Training Platform

USES2 training programme aims to:

• train a new generation of innovative, interdisciplinary, intersectoral and international research-based young women and men highly skilled in embedded ultrasonic sensors capable of exploring different physical principles in conjunction with new advanced mechanical waves processing to cover major NDE and SHM needs over multi-scale range with respect to a wide variety of materials and structures.

• provide the DCs with strong and wide scientific and transferable skills (ethics, collaborative work, organisation, communication, networking, management, etc.), with a global 360° vision (scientific, economic, societal, digital, environmental). All while able to connect with a broad audience: academic, public and private organisations, policy- makers, end-users, citizens.

All along the USES2 project, the Doctoral Candidates will receive an intensive training, divided into 4 categories:

• Local training
• Network-wide training
• Training through secondments
• Training through practice.
