Dr Anna Sklodowska

Anna Sklodowska earned a Master's degree in Civil Engineering from Warsaw university of Technology in Poland (2017) and a second Master's in Geohazards from University Grenoble Alpes in France (2019).

In 2019, she joined the MSCA-ITN project URBASIS-EU as a Research Assistant at National Institute of Oceanography and applied Geophysics in Trieste, Italy. Her PhD research, successfully defended at University of Trieste in 2023, focused on seismology, particularly on analyzing soil-structure interaction.

In the same year, she joined the Federal Research Institute for Materials Research and Testing BAM in Berlin, Germany, as a Postdoctoral Researcher, where her work focuses on acoustic emission. Her primary research interests include applying seismology-based techniques for non-destructive testing (NDT), acoustic emission analysis, and coda wave studies.
