Dr Ilaria Barone

Ilaria Barone completed her studies in Environmental Engineering at Politecnico di Torino (Italy) in 2011.

In 2013 she graduated in the International Master of Research in Exploration Geophysics at the Institut de Physique du Globe de Paris (France).

After a few years of working experience in the oil & gas industry, she got a PhD in Geosciences at the University of Padova (Italy), where she is currently a Research Fellow.

Her research mainly focuses on seismic surface wave analysis and inversion for near-surface characterization, shallow seismology and data processing.

She is responsible for two course units of the International Master in Geophysics for Natural Risks and Resources at the University of Padua.
